INDEPENDENT LIFESTYLE DESIGN

Independent Lifestyle Design explores the concept of assessing current home design and making modifications to improve safety, comfort, and livability. This workshop will explore, room by room, the many (often no or low cost) modifications that can be made to make the home safer, less cluttered, better illuminated, and more accessible.

LIGHTING SOLUTIONS FOR THE AGING EYE

We will all face vision challenges as we age. New developments in lighting and lighting products provide a myriad of options for improving and optimizing our interior and exterior spaces for better functionality and quality of life. In this workshop learn about characteristics of the aging eye, characteristics of lighting technology, measures that may be taken to provide safer, better illuminated spaces within your home as well as newer products that can be installed to insure function and safety.
